Meet Dr. Brea Sturm
Brea Sturm, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who values the caring connections forged with patients over time. She appreciates being a part of patients’ journey – witnessing their confidence increase as she helps treat skin conditions ranging from acne to psoriasis.
Dr. Sturm specializes in diagnosing and treating patients of all ages and stages with a variety of skin, hair and nail conditions. She appreciates the breadth and diversity of her specialty – from one-on-one counseling on disease conditions to performing excisions.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Dermatology, Dr. Sturm completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she distinguished herself as the Chief Academic Resident during her final year (2023-2024). Dr. Sturm's academic journey began at Bradley University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sturm’s interests extend beyond medicine, and she loves anything that gets her outside. (Always with sunscreen, of course!) She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, biking, and kayaking, as well as creative pursuits like knitting and crochet.
Dr. Sturm is currently accepting new patients at 601 NW O’Brien Road. To schedule your dermatology appointment with her, call 816-287-1528.
